problem with POI Converter

I downloaded a 398 Kb file called RetailStores.ov2; when I try converting it to .csv using POI Converter, it gives me an overflow error. Is there a program out there that will convert .ov2 to .csv, regardless of the initial .ov2 size? Thanks

Try This

POIEdit 2007! This program has a 'batch convert' feature under 'TOOLS' that'll allow you to convert files from .ov2 to .csv and vice versa - as well as a host of other formats.

Hope this helps!

Re: Problem

The file in reference is a protected TomTom file. POI Converter cannot convert it, POIEdit 2007 will not convert it. If you try to use POIEdit 2007 to convert the file as I did, you will get an error message which is explained on the POIEdit web site FAQ section.

"When I'm opening an ov2 file from my device I get an "invalid .ov2 file" message...
This usually happens when you try to open an encrypted ov2 file, usually acquired from a TomTom plus service. These ov2 files are protected, and that's why PoiEdit cannot open them."
The batch conversion tool also returns an error message.

The only site I know of presently that could convert the encrypted file will not convert this specific file because of its size. This is GPS Data Team at http://tomtom.gps-data-team.com/poi/ov2-to-csv.php.
