checking
my car for leaks and rattles, both confirmed, and then saw a screw in the tire.
I'm always nervous because in my lifetime, 3/4 repairs required replacement.
This car is RWD so I'd likely have only bought 1, not even 2.
Screw 1.25" in from sidwall and imho beyond shoulder.
Costco fixed it, patched inside out. I used to plug myself and that's hit/miss. Closer to shoulder, and when on front, leaked.
those of us who drive 20 y.o. cars know the feeling, most nowadays, don't, just gas and go! Or charge...
My mindset is one buys a car, it's up to 20% (cheating my dad told me 10%) of one's take home salary, and then keep it forever, which is hopefully 25 years. Imagine how outdated this thinking is, with many getting a new vehicle every 12-36 mos (how do they afford that is my wonderment)
