we went
for a bike ride from home. We no longer have a vehicle that can take the bike rack, so we can't bring the bikes anywhere. First world problem, I know. We were also going to get a new bike for the 11 y.o. and hoping he could go to an adult small (likely on the cusp), and we can't do that either. Maybe it's a good thing as we'll be able to get an adult bike for him in 2026.
Car is on order and my prediction is it comes mid to late September, last of the 2025's.

we went
skating yesterday, and oddly public skate was 2-6 PM. They never redid the ice but we got 1 hour more than normal. Also had son's skates sharpened by a local legend (see comments that he sharpened their skates when in HS out of the back of his van--sounds like the disco era lol)
