Safe travels.
Go north of Phoenix
To Sedona, perhaps even beyond to the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Once at the Grand Canyon you can travel a road the borders the south rim for about 20 to 25 miles. Do it east to west that way you are always making right turns to enter and leave stop over points.

A few days late sorry!
I hope you hit Meteor Crater before you hit Flagstaff - crazy place.
Road Kill Cafe in Seligman
Grand Canyon Caverns.. The elevator was broke in June 2024 but it is still a fun place.
Hackberry was a fun tourist trap!
Cool Springs another fun Tourist trap!
SitGreaves Pass..
Oatman AZ we did not stop and look around which I regret today!
If you have time check out Lake Havasu.
Amboy and Amboy crater - hotter than hades last year in June.
We tried to stay on old 66 as much as possible.
We were doing it "backward" last year - CA to MO.
Had a blast!!!
Anyway sorry if the info is too late!
Winslow
Winslow, about 50 miles east of Flagstaff on I-40, doesn't have much for a tourist besides the Standin' On The Corner site, but there is one definite Must See and that is the La Posada restored old Harvey House hotel and train station. Just walking through the old hotel, checking the rooms to see which famous folks have stayed there, spending a night in one of the rooms, and eating in the Turquoise Room is a real treat. The artist Tina Mion also has a lot of her paintings on display.
Wiinslow Arizona...
Had breakfast in Winslow Arizona recently. Great breakfast. The last time we were there (before this time) we had beers in a nice brew pub and took pics by the statue of Jackson Browne and the Flatbed Ford that are on the corner. Right behind that building is "Standing On The Corner Park". Good memories.
