there is a listing for lakes, streams and ponds, but the files are zip files. When i tried to load them on my garmin the would not load. How can I change them to the standard file for garmin...???? Help

You need to unzip them on your computer and put the resulting extracted file(s) into the POI folder on your computer in order to load them with POI Loader.

What OS are you using? If you are using XP, you should have this capability built in. Otherwise, you will need to look for an unzipping program. WinZip is one.
