crossed the river into NJ. These days I ignore the bridge toll. If we can have a relatively empty gas tank, I'll fill that for 30 cents less (still man PA is killer, yes it's a market), there are some restaurants with 2018 pricing, and I have a car wash monthly there (since I work there), so I got the salt off of the car yesterday as well...
Wine country
Drove out to a wine country for tasting and to watch the vines be dormant and restful.
Even caught a local professional production of the Nutcracker ballet that turned out to be pretty good.

Discovered a restaurant in Bethlehem where Gordon Ramsay would explode.
The portions were 2X what they should be!
We could barely eat 1/2, and took the rest home. We always travel with a cooler.
Huge portions most certainly make for satisfied customers, but they represent profits leaving the establishment out the door as well.

Last day...
...of 2024. Where in the world did this year go?? It was an eventful year in some not-so-good ways, mostly with my wife's health issues. She almost didn't make it. Somewhat better now but not completely out of the woods... just taking it day by day.
