Went to AC. Guy asked if he could play a slot or was I using the machine? I said go ahead and he won the Grand @ $8500. Ugh!

Went to my doctor back in July for my 6 month checkup. Been going to this guy for 40 years. Never said anything about my weight. Called the next day and told me that I needed to lose a few pounds. Started walking and dropped around 20 pounds. Then it gets cold and it’s hard to walk in the cold. So, gym time. Went to local gym and asked if they accept Silver Sneakers. Yep they do. So, even though I hate treadmills, I am walking on one of those to keep up with the weight loss. Boring!!!! (Thank goodness that the treadmill faces the road and I can watch the traffic as it goes by.)

It's time to start preparing the GPS with loads of POI files.

Darn. Blew it again.

Leaving for Reno

A quick day trip to see my daughter, her husband, and my granddaughter.

For at least 8 years, there would be an online coupon for $29.95, $42 out the door. That coupon is now $49.95, $67 out the door. The last time we used the $29.95 was July 2024. 5 mos ago.

Contrast the above, to 2007 to 2021, where I took my other car to the dealer, got a brand new loaner car all day, and paid $38.

In many ways, we are simply turning up the radio, meaning we're passive towards what's going on around us. On my other forum, people throw away brand new tires based on age (first world problems, really) lol

Now, for the good news. I bought a 6 lb rib roast at $4.76/lb (great price), and froze it right away. We might cook it XMAS day. For those in the Philly area, it's at Giant Supermarkets through today.
