these days, is free or lower priced ice hockey equipment.

Last week, a mom we don't know personally nor were never introduced to, gave my son ice skates, inline hockey skates, and a stick handling device, all stuff her son used.

Now, he has two sets of ice skates, and two sets of inline hockey skates, larger than what he's using now. The concept is pretty solid, hand stuff down, and for the recipient, why spend huge amounts when starting out.

I was nosey and googled that stick handling device and it's $349. Skates are $300. For a 10 y.o.

It sure is an expensive world that we live in.
