We crossed the river so I could wash my car where I have a monthly subscription.
I'm working remote next 3 days and won't be back until Dec. 2.
Wouldn't it be cheaper just to wash the car in PA, since the bridge costs $6, you might say?
Yes, true. But since it was wet last two days including snow flurries, car needs a wash. AND, crossing the river with the family is an excuse to go to one of our favorite restaurants. So yes, you can say, that car wash cost $136 plus fuel lol (who can explain how the mind works)
p.s. was also able to return something at the hockey store--one really needs to know pricing these days. Got a pair of sweats for 50% off and then an additional 25% off. Only to find the same sweats cheaper on the CCM website ($80 marked down to $24, I paid $30). This technique is used by amazon every day. Prior, it was done by supermarkets. Yet we still get fooled.
