Can you delete all but one of the tts files and have the system still work? i.e. I don't need french, spanish, or anything but english.

.

Yes, you can delete any voice, text, and vehicle files that you don't need.

BE SURE that you know what you are doing and which files you are working with before you do it.

I usually recommend to copy the files to your computer first before you delete them. In fact, I usually recommend that people back up their entire GARMIN drive to their computer when they first get it.

How do you do that??

How do you do what? Back your files up to your computer?

Connect your unit to your computer. Navigate to the GARMIN drive. Copy the files to your computer.

If you copy the whole garmin folder in its entirety (meaning select the folder before it is opened), then you will be sure to get all the files.

Are you sure? I don't think

It does on mine. Just to be clear, what I'm saying is that I go to the GARMIN drive and copy the ENTIRE garmin folder that is inside the GARMIN drive without opening the garmin folder. I don't open the folder and select all the files.
