I just installed 2024 map in my Honda CRV Touring and it doesn't display any roads or streets still shows direction and if input where to tells when to turn. Going to reinstall soon and see if it fixes it. I wasn't sure it would update as I have a 2018 and free updates for 5 years. I have updated every year and no problems until now.

The MapCare program is 5 years from the date the vehicle reaches about 200 miles. How does that compare to your period of ownership?

And the link I provided states

The free update period starts at approximately the time the vehicle reached 200 miles
• Model Year 2016-2020: Came with 5 years of MapCare
• Model year 2021-2024: Came with 3 years of MapCare

I did the 2024 maps in my 2019 CR-V, upgrading from the 2023. I always take screen shots of the versions and when I compared the 2023 to the new 2024 it was the same version. I waited a day, went through the whole process, ended with the same result.

On the info screen in the CR-V it shows the free maps expire 7 July 2024, so I am still in the free upgrade window..

That was 17 Jan 2024 and awaiting Honda Canada’s response.

Take a look at the Nav screen under the UPGRADE sub menu and it will show when yours expires.

I had the same issue

I had the same issue recently with my 2018 Honda CRV. Have never had problems updating previous years.

Hello,

Has there been any update regarding this? I also downloaded the 2024 map update for my 2020 civic and no roads seem to appear. When searching it seems to automatically fill in American addresses. (I live in Canada) I noted all 3 maps uploaded to the car successfully (North American maps). I have reset the gps unit (holding volume button) next step is to re-install the maps. Really hoping it’s just lagging the gps signal and will eventually show the roads.
It currently only shows the major highway, land and water. I can’t set my home address because the gps keeps telling me to go to the major highway (only road it shows)
