Sitting on the front porch enjoying the last vestiges of summer

Going to get hot again this week before it cools down a little. The Cicadas are chirping and Fall will be here in a couple of weeks. Not looking forward to what happens after that. Oh well, I hope everyone has a good week.

Surgery and Dialysis

My husband went through surgery last week and will start Urgent Dialysis tomorrow.
They are going to teach me while they are giving him the Dialysis in the office for the next two weeks 5 days a week, all day. When that is finished we will be able to do the dialysis at home.
A little scary. At 83 and not healthy we, and the doctors were afraid of the outcome being put under during surgery. Everything went fine and he came out of it ok.
Now for the long two weeks. When he gets home he will do the dialysis 7 days a week while he sleeps. A new chapter in our lives.

While all this was happening I sold (well maybe not) our 55 Chevy on ebay. The man who bought it kept leading me on about the pay and finally a day after the payment was due I turned it in that he had not paied. eBay sent a second chance to the next bidder but only gave them 1 day to respond and I didn't hear from him. The man kept leading me on for 8 days so I guess he bought something else.
We will rest from eBay awhile then put it up for sale again. It was, and is, stressful during all that we are going through buy my husband wants to be sure and sell it and some other stuff to make it easier on me when something happens to him.
Sorry for such a long post but I just needed to vent.

Still hot and humid here in Memphis, The high price of gas kept me home for the Labor Day weekend, I watched some college football on TV for free. Very high-scoring games The true freshman running back at Colorado looks like he is the real deal. Everyone have a good safe week.

Mary sorry to hear about your husband but relived he came out of the surgery ok. Things sound bad but you still have each other and that's what counts.

Too bad about the Chev on Ebay, there is always someone that is trying to make things harder.

some plants are about finished cuks acorn squash berries finished about a month ago apples are falling an so are the pears weather is starting to go to the cooler side
