traveling

been camping at Salt Springs FL - visited Silver Springs Rec Area. Very interesting. Except for the LOW flying military jets that dam near deafened me, and the sever thunderstorm that rocked my camper. But it is a nice area if you link living in a sparsely settled area and relying on AMZ for your shopping.

Dodge and iPod support

My Dodge is so basic the entertainment system doesn't even have Android Auto support. It only has built-in iPod support. Any other device is only seen as removable storage, which limits me to a maximum of 2000 songs. Fortunately, there was an iPod available for me to use; an old iPod Touch from 2011.

The iPod Touch has served well, but after a dozen years the battery is finally at the point where the iPod sometimes forgets where I left off in the music queue and resorts to playing songs in alphabetical order regardless of album. So it was time to replace it. I bought a used iPhone SE (1st Generation) which should fill the bill for at least the next five years if not more.

Northeast Ohio will have crappy weather from now 'til next Wednesday; rainy, dreary, and cool (mid-40s to high 50s along the Lake Erie coast). Makes it tough to keep up with the yard work.
