Keeping The Windmill Alive – March 2023

Perhaps you can post on a new book you're reading, a new hobby you're taking up or about random finds as you finally get around to cleaning out the..., or your most recent adventure?

Anything to keep your windmill alive.

Please keep comments polite.

This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.

To Cover or Not To Cover....

I have no idea if the greater DC area will ever see snow this winter, but I feel like uncovering everything outside that was covered for the winter. Murphy's Law will clearly bite me if I do. So, I have chosen to imbibe fruity Sunday libations and watch college basketball in lieu thereof. My best decision in months. Cheers.

Trip For Eye Exam

I don't have a lot of need for the GPS, these days, but recently used it for a trip to London Ontario for an eye exam at Ivey Eye Clinic.
Will need it again, when I go back for eye surgery.

Time for another...

spin of the windmill. Hope to work on camper this week doing a complete reseal of the roof. Got to get things ready for another run to Alaska smile

Geocaching

Hoping to visit Australia and New Zealand this fall. (Not fall there of course...) Think I may dust off my geocaching skills and pick up a cache or two while in that part of the world.

I used to be a avid geocacher and would dash out of the house at the drop of a hat for a new FTF (First to Find). I eventually racked up 232 FTFs which is a pretty good number. These days I can't hike, climb, etc. and even walking very far or standing very long is out and I don't have the vision or balance I once had. (Getting old is not all fun and games.)

I also used to spend weekends geocaching with my wife and we would always look for them on trips. I know she misses those times. It would be good to snag a few in far away places again.
