The voice of Australian Karen has always been my Garmin GPS choice.

Impressive.

I still can't get over a voice telling me where to turn. 15 Years ago when I got the first gps for the bike, what ever voice it came with of course could not be heard over wind/exhaust noise at speed.

As such, when I used the gps in the car, it was sop to just mute the voice and follow the visual cues. Still do to this day.

Mine too. My voice wake-up command is "Hey Karen." From the week-old YouTube, it appears that she has left New York and returned to Mackay in Queensland Australia.

... and thought it was going to be an "I want to speak to your manager" story.

First thing I thought of too.

My first thought too and my firstborn is named Karen, a now-corrupted perfectly good name.

The people named Karen I've known have all been nice people and good friends who did nothing matching up with the Internet meme for "Karen," so with apologies to all of them...

"Karen" went from being the 3rd most common baby girl name in 1965 into a gradual decline to 165th in 2007, then steeper decline to 635th in 2018, and since then with the growth of the Internet meme using the name as a synonym for a, uh, witch, fell even faster over the next two years to 828th in 2020, the most recent date shown here:
