Mikes was founded in 1967 in Montreal, by the Marano brothers, as a sandwich shop. The chain now referred to as Toujours Mikes and is mostly in Quebec, Canada.

Since then, their menu has added pizza, pasta, other meals and some desserts as well as countryside skillets and authentic breakfast pizzas.
