Norwood

Just logged in to review some of Norwood's tutorials and I get a video not available, private. What's up with that?

Try contacting Norwood first

Thanks but clicking the link

Thanks but clicking the link or copy and pasting this link doesn't work.

it works for chrome

It works for Chrome. What browser are you using?

What Craig means is to send a message to Norwood on his contact page to ask the question.

Correct

Success in contacting a Factory User that hasn't posted a message or uploaded a POI file or FAQ possibly for five years may or may not work, but it's the first step, and should the user reply, the asking party will receive a response straight from the horse's mouth. There's also the very real chance that the User may no longer use the email address they provided back when they joined the Factory; or for other reasons not receive, or choose not to reply to the asking party.

Given that all Norwood's YouTubes (from Norwood's POI Factory Reference Page) now take us to a YouTube web page that states "Video unavailable - This video is private" suggests to me that it increases the chance that an exchange with Norwood is unlikely and the videos are gone forever. I don't create YouTube videos; maybe someone here can add some context. I just wonder if the above YouTube message can be used more than just when the Channel owner changed a YouTube video from Public to Private. YouTube doesn't direct us with that message to Norwood's YouTube Channel to ask for permission to view the videos and that suggests that possibly Norwood, the Channel Owner, has deleted their YouTube channel/account.

Later: one last thought. Be sure you're logged in to POI Factory to use the link I provided earlier. If not logged into POI Factory, you won't be given access to Norwood's Contact page, and that could make you crying .

Maybe

Just looking at Norwood's profile picture suggests the chance that he's no longer with us.

Yeah,

those links and his videos went dead long ago. It's a shame, he did a nice job with them and they contained a lot of material.
