That loves to tear down this great nation of ours. If only they would take the time to learn of the great sacrifices that people before them have made to keep this country free. Go back to how the Jewish, Polish, French, British, and Dutch people were treated in WWII. How the NVA and Viet Cong treated the Vietnamese people during the Vietnam war. A lot of the people protesting today have no idea what the Constitution says, (because they have never read it), and have no idea what it takes to maintain freedom. As someone said many years ago, ‘Your freedom ends where my nose begins.’ Sadly, some people think that as long as they think something is right, then that’s the way it should be. However, that’s not the way a republic or democracy works. Enough of me being on the soapbox. This is a day to be celebrated and I hope everyone has a very happy 4th.

4th Parade Cancelled
We had a parade cancelled due to a 12-year-old girl getting hit during the parade. Looks like they may cancel the rest of the activities for the day.

A day of celebration of our freedom from British rule.

enjoyed a free event in a town a couple miles over.
It's sad to think how much we enjoyed it in contrast to what happened in IL.
One thing that came up, parking. We were 3 hours early and it was all gone.
We parked at a supermarket and I felt uneasy, isn't this an easy $250 for the tow co.? Yet, wouldn't the supermarket need to call them, and would they be that mean on July 4?
When we parked there were only about 15 cars....all the apartment complexes and businesses had their entrances closed. Reminded me of the Big E in MA only there they are charging for parking.
We parked and when we got back, the lot was full lol
I guess the paranoia is from watching YouTube tow videos
