Keeping The Windmill Alive – May, 2022

Perhaps you can post on a new book you're reading, a new hobby you're taking up or about random finds as you finally get around to cleaning out the..., or your most recent adventure?

Anything to keep your windmill alive.

Please keep comments polite.

This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.

Enterprise, Joseph, Oregon

Memorial weekend trip.

Joined my Uncle Jimmy and my mom for a trip to Enterprise, Oregon. That's where my grandmother on that side was both born and laid to rest.

It was nice to learn a bit more about the family history in that area.
It was also nice to have an adult perspective on both the drive there and on the size of Wallowa Lake.
As a kid the drive seemed long and treacherous, and my cousins insisted there was a monster in the lake.
The main roads from Boise to Joseph are paved now and it's my opinion that the lake is too small to qualify for a lake monster. razz
