Garmin Factory refurbs

It has been several years since I purchased a Garmin factory refurbished device, but in the past, they were like brand new units in plain boxes. They may have been new excess inventory, or perhaps Garmin installed the refurbished electronics in new cases. Either way, they looked brand new.

I've owned several dozen GPSr's & other devices over the years and most have been refurbs. I've had very little trouble with any and those that did have issues were promptly replaced by Garmin or their vendor.
