Gamin c580 and ability to enter coordinates

I was reading an article over on GPSmagazine (http://www.gpsmagazine.com/2007/07/gpsmagazine_guide_to_geoc...), where the blog was about geocaching. The article mentioned that the nuvi and Streetpilot cXXX series were able to enter coordinates, however my c580 doesn't appear to have this ability.

It states:
-----------------------------------------------------
"Garmin includes the ability to input a set of longitude/latitude coordinates as a destination address on most of its automobile-centric GPS devices, such as the nuvi and StreetPilot c-series units.

To route to a set of coordinates, tap on "Where to?" and then scroll down to see the Coordinates option, as shown above."
-----------------------------------------------------

In my menu, the coordinates option is not there...

Is this a misprint of the article, or do I need to activate/update software to get this functionality in my Garmin c580? I have the latest software version loaded on the unit (v 5.7).

Thanks for any help or information!

No option to add coordinates to c530

There is no option to do this with the c530. Only by creating custom pois and loading the .csv file onto the GPSr.

I haven't seen this on my C550. In fact if you google "C550 enter coordinates" you'll find several references saying you can't. I believe a C580 is the same as a 550 with MSN added.

Thanks!

Thanks for the responses. I thought it must've been a misprint on the blog since I didn't see that option there.

I saw the same thing ces1948 when I googled that, and got the same responses.
