New Year - New Week - New Snow

With the first Monday of the new year we received about 5" of heavy snow. Got most of the driveway cleared (all except the berm deposited by the snow plow). Don't need to go anywhere, so I'm going to let the sun do its stuff to melt the rest. Had some tree damage that needs to be taken care of too.

Snow blower repair.

My 23 year old MTD two stage snow blower crapped out on me while cleaning up after our New Year's Day snow storm. I tore it apart and discovered the spring on the end of the auger cable had snapped in two. I was able to order a new auger cable assembly on Amazon (hope it is the right part) and it is supposed to be delivered today. Hopefully I will have this old beast operational again before the next snow storm.
