Google Maps is now an App on Windows 10

On Windows 10, Google Maps has always run inside the Chrome browser. That can still be done, but many Google Maps' features are missing. For example, the Saved Places are no longer visible.

A Google Maps app can easily be installed on the PC and all the features are there:

Google Earth Pro is Great!

I've been using Google Earth for probably twenty or more years as I cannot remember when I first started using it. If I correctly recall at the time, Google Earth was a free program so I opted for the free Google Earth rather than Google Earth Pro.

After a time Google Earth Pro was also made a free program so I changed to Google Earth Pro after it was offered for free.

I love Google Earth and I use it almost daily but I use the straight program on my PC instead of inside a browser or as an app.

You need to be logged in to Google to see saved, favourites etc.

There are others too

Besides Google Maps, YouTube and a few select other apps are now available for Windows users that avoid the need for them to run in a browser. I have added both the Maps and YouTube apps to my PC.

The YouTube link dobs108 offers in the OP shows how easy it is to add the app to a PC.
