Took a spur of the moment drive

to Las Vegas, mainly to visit some friends who live there. Checked out a lot of new places that had opened since my last visit 4 years ago.

The only gambling I did was for less than 5 minutes on a video poker machine. Won $35, cashed out and walked away. It was a nice getaway but I won't be in any hurry to go back again.

Covid booster.

Got my 3rd dose (booster dose) of Pfizer vaccine, wife gets hers tomorrow. Got the flu shot a couple of weeks ago, also up to date on pneumonia, shingles and DTP vaccines, so I guess I am all shot up for now.

Got my booster on Sunday. Took about 5 minutes of searching on the web for available appointments and got one at a CVS five blocks from where I live. sure beets the multiple hours each day for a month last spring to find an appointment.

We received the Moderna Vaccine and have to wait for our booster shot. I haven't heard anything lately about their booster.
Get the flu shot next Monday.
May be a while before we are all shot up.
