Can you put poi icons on TOMTOM like you can Garmin ?
I installed some poi's on my old TomTom, but icons dont show up.

It depends upon which TomTom model you have. The older models have more ability to be customized than the newer models.
Since you say you installed POI files without any drama, I am guessing that you may be able to install icons also.
What is the model of your TomTom?

as a .bmp image 16x16 to 48x48 px
that must be named to match the .ov2 file precisely, even a case change throws it off
using TomTom Home select both files to copy
using TomTom MyDrive Connect have to delete the existing poi, and reinstall the poi, the program handles image/poi pairs -but badly
