New iOS 14.5.1 update

...that was quick. 14.5 out, I believe, last week. And 14.5.1 out this week.

Always nice to have the latest.

I find this to be typical of Apple. There is a release and a follow-up very often within days. The timeline below is for iOS 14 and excludes the last two releases. I don't even often install the version ending with a 0 ("zero"), knowing that another will be along in a week.

I have also found that many apps need to be updated, shortly after an iOS update. In this instance, iOS going to 14.5.1, shortly after the update I was offered on my iPad updates to Open Table, Google Maps and Microsoft OneDrive.

Updated iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch (7.4.1) without issues

Issue with an APP iRobot on iPhone 6:
for second time, IOS update caused IP Loss from robot to APP on one of 2 robots, the first time APP ran after the IOS update... after first time IOS and APP lost IP, I contacted Support for iRobot and they said to use 2GHz instead of 5Ghz... So I did this time... Other Robot lost it's IP to the iRobot APP..

This time it lost IP and I could not restore the IP I had planned on using, until, I removed the battery from Robot to First Birthday Robot before IP could be re-learned.... !!! After that the robot re-learned the IP correctly... As Mentioned, this is the 2nd time after an IOS update, that the first time the Robot APP ran, it corrupted and lost control of a robot..... (same firmware on each robot)

Other than that iPhone 6 upgraded to 12.5.3 on phone fine.

Though 6 had an issue with an APP, No problems were encountered on iPad or iPhone 8+ on this version 14....

Thanks for the note. As was said above, it seems like all of the X.Y updates get an X.Y.Z update almost immediately.

Seeing this i checked the wifes ipad because i remembered updating it early last week like monday or tuesdasy. I've set it so it doesn't take updates automatically.
