Garmin Drive Refurb Quality?

I am still happy with my old 3490 but I needed a second unit for a different vehicle and didn't want to spend a ton on a new unit so I went with a refurbed Drive 55 from GPSCITY for $99 vs. $229 or whatever it is now but then saw a review that said to stay away from the refurb models (after I purchased it of course) as they may have bad batteries or bad screens. So now I'm worried about the unit coming. I thought refurbed meant a used unit that was rebuilt to factory standards or am I wrong? Just curious if anyone else bought one of these units and had any issues.

New One Made The Difference

So in bringing this back up. I've acquired a NEW Drivesmart 55. The battery was relatively low when I got it so I charged it for several hours. Went to the battery diagnostic screen and it held at 100% for quite some time. The refurbed unit would never reach 100% and started depleting almost immediately which is probably why it was a refurbed unit. It had a bad battery. I was able to get this unit on points but if I had paid for it, it was only $77 more than the refurb so I would have paid the difference honestly.
