Finally out on a long road trip...
Hard to believe it's already been a week ago that my wife and I set out on a cross country trip from Central PA to Yuma AZ to deliver her son's car to him at his new USMC base.
Of course I made sure that my maps were up-to-date, loaded 400,000 custom POIs, and headed out West. While I could have made the trip alone in about 4 days, we decided to take it slow and caught a few sights along the way. One sight we hadn't planned for was the side of the road on the Oklahoma Turnpike. In short, I found my AAA membership to be worth its money. We did stop in Sedona for a couple of days, and that was the highlight of the trip.
Anyhow, after 2,711 miles we turned over the car and flew home. One of the best lessons: how much more comfortable it is to drive in a car vs. wearing a mask for 6 hours on a plane. In spite of the constant forgetting to grab the mask before heading into a rest stop and then having to turn around to retrieve it, I really don't want to ride in a plane again until masks are no longer required (if that will ever happen).

Hope your mask work ok on the plane. We have to drive to Houston for cancer treatments and would love to take a plane but I am afraid the mask won't work that well.
Glad you enjoyed your trip.

Pickup
Walmart notouch pickup today then drive through fast food.
I miss walking through Walmart. Every week my husband and I would eat either a pizza at Walmart Subway or another fast food place then go walking at Walmart. He would go to the automotive and plumbing and I would go to the good stuff. After we were through we would meet in the automotive then go do groceries together.
I sure do miss that.
I know it is pitiful but that was the highlight of our week.

Birthday
Since everything seems to be on fire we weren't able to take our proposed camping trip (AGAIN!!!) but we did take our little teardrop up to visit for our granddaughter's birthday. Works out well as we take our own bedroom with us. Only a 2 day visit but at least we got out of the house.
