Waiting for school to start.
Finished school a long time ago.
visiting cousins in CA. Got back for one cool day before the next Excessive Heat Watch begins.
Most recent trip was to Palm Springs, CA. We go there a few times each summer. We like the heat and love the town. Unfortunately, this last trip in mid-August, it was quite humid. It's monsoon season in SoCal after all and not super unusual to get some humidity. In this case, it was due to a hurricane south of Baja Calif that was inching northward. Even had some lightning one late afternoon, which had us frantically get out of the pool and back to our rooms! But it passed pretty quickly, and everyone was back to the pool and whatnot. Social distancing there of course. Unlike some scenes you may have seen in the news, this was a small ten room hotel. Everyone keeps well apart and the management cleans the tables and lounge chairs as soon as a person or couple is done there for the day (indicated by folding the lounge down). Anyway, had a great time despite the humidity (and 115-118 degree temps!).
Periodontist's office. The back way to get around a very long red light.
Traveling around NJ to various DMV's to register a car I bought, no dice gonna have to camp out.
Staying home most of the time.
Quick trip for the day to take some supplies to an elderly friend of the family. Social distancing but at least spending some time within sight of each other.
great Labor Day holiday!
to the vet these dog's are going to bankrupt me LOL i think it is having a nervious breakdown he is very excited about nothing
One more week and we'll have a short camping trip. We'll camp 4 or 5 days and then park our little teardrop outside our son's house (he has 7 acres in the mountains) and visit for our granddaughters third birthday. We are both sooooooooooooo very ready to get out of the house.
Staying indoors where it's somewhat cool.
Have a great week.
No where special
Just to the cottage. Took out two docks and made some concord grape jelly.... Yum.
Only about 20 miles
And no harm in that.
Trying to catch the fall colors.
Went shopping in Asheville!!
Only needed GPS for last 1/2 mile of trip to store.
Took the motor home out for a few days. Nice first day the wind rain and snow. Temp only in the low 40's with lows in the low 30's
Lost two pine trees and a few shingles, a weather station and a big mess to clean up with the high winds

Drove to Charlottesville, VA. Around 1 hour drive from my city.
First time in a restaurant since the quarantine. Figured it was best time since school is starting and don't want to get him sick.
His office is near my parents' last place. Drive back home was weird since i hadn't driven that way in a couple of years and construction zones have moved.
Another Coon Hunt.
Hello from Toronto!

Nice, relaxing day, until we had to outrun a storm to get off the water!!!
Went to the city park.
Trip? What trip? We can't freaking go anywhere. Heck, we don't even go outside. It looks like we have a pretty good fog out there but it's smoke.
We provided lunch for First Responders on 9/11. We gave out 157 lunches, some delivered and some inhouse.
Managed to use the car on my latest trip...
From my garage down the driveway and back into the garage.
Garmin tells me my house is in the wrong place.
Drove to Calistoga the 1st week of July...
GPS kept giving me a strange route... turns out I had the Avoid Toll Roads selected...
Calistoga and Napa were pretty quiet... a lot of places closed or out of business... crazy overgrown too... new wood fences being built...
I hope they come back after this last round of fires
Up and down the stairs
Went to Pecos National Historical Park today. Great place to visit for a few hours.
Staying home, stay safe.
To an unfamiliar church for a seminar.
Knocked the dust off the motorcycle, literally. It's been long enough that it and my helmet were both covered in dust.
