Interesting

I've been considering the 8" OTR800 but the RV890 is $100 cheaper. I'll have to do a detailed feature comparison before buying.

One downside is delivery is about 2 to 3 weeks

I like that it can interface with one of the Garmin backup cameras.

Encouraging

I think some of us were feeling that Garmin was not going to release any new GPS units. This is a pleasant surprise and an 8" screen at that. Will be looking for some reviews to see how it stacks up.
