Fuel Prices Now Available - Drivesmart 65

I own a Drivesmart 65 and just noticed they added Fuel Prices! They haven't had this option in years. Anybody have any thoughts on this and how they source their prices?

Do they appear to be

Do they appear to be accurate and frequently updated?

I have a Drive Smart 61,

I have a Drive Smart 61, wonder if they'll add them to that as well.

That said there is an app called "GasBuddy" I use to find the prices for where I'm at, or even where I'll be. It will tell you nearby via the GPS in your phone, or by a zip code that you enter.

It's a user driven app similar to waze, at least in part, I've reported a difference once, so it's a current as the last reported price. I have found it spot on 99% of the time.

I'm going to check it out

I'm going to check it out over the next couple of days to see if they are accurate. GasBuddy is "good" for regular grade. "ok for Diesel. But "awful" for plus, premium, super and other grades of fuel.

Well ...

The prices themselves are awful for plus, premium, super and other grades of fuel. I mean $2.09 for regular and $2.89 for premium? Geez.

Honestly I only use regular and it's nearly always been spot on when I use it. Since it's partly 'crowd sourced' I imagine most folks only use the regular grade which is why it's normally correct. Never paid attention to the other grades.

Ditto on that. I generally only report regular.
