GPX Files (DriveSmart 55 & Basecamp w/ Mac)

I have another question. How can I get my DriveSmart 55 read a GPX file from the SD card. Let me set some conditions. Macs cannot see the DS 55 or 65 units because Garmin isn't smart enough to Figure out USB-C on Macs. I can use Garmin Express, but not Basecamp to connect to my unit. I also cannot see the the file system, or the SD card in Finder, (Explorer).
But I can see SD card by itself in Basecamp and can upload and download Route, Waypoints, etc. But the GPS cannot see gpx files in the Garmin/GPX folder. It can see the POI files installed there by POI Loader.
I know there are a couple posts I've found about loading Route files to SD card then insertion tin the unit and loading the routes that way. lBut not on my DS 55. If anyone has any thoughts on that, I would appreciate hearing them.

Well, just kiss my foot. The damn thing started working on it's own. I hate it when established procedures get pushed to work arounds when the manufacturer can't adhere to working standards and accepted norms.
