out to my daughters house in Eatonville wa have to be carful a car was off to the side of the road it had hit an elk the car looked like it hit a train they killed it when they hit it! getting dark causes the animals to browse earlier so be carful on them back roads!

Tomorrow is Wreaths Across America.

My Scout Troop and a few others are participating and placing the wreaths. Unfortunately it's raining. At least not snow yet.

ran down south to help daughter girl scout sailboat group load generators onto the boats for nighttime boat parade. next day, ran west to meet parents for mom's birthday.

Standard kid shuffle to school and appointments

Washington, DC to Canton, OH.

South for Christmas. Down to Delray each.

I went to Kroger.....and back.

Happy Monday to all members.

Made Saturday drive to watch Army-Navy game with a friend. Great game, terrible traffic.

Spent most of the time repairing my 100K mile vehicle.

But needed a GPS fix for figure out where I was when I arrived on the street from the subway.

We are still doing fine.
My son stayed with us with his wife and 4 kids for a few weeks while he was looking for a house near his new job. Needless to say it was a busy time. It was wonderful having them here but so tiring. The kids are so good but are kids. 16, 15, 13, 10. Three boys and one girl and they are homeschooled.
They are in their new home and I do miss them, but it is so quiet now.

The same every year... still searching for Christmas presents.

traveled via car last week from Columbus OH back to Boston MA in one sitting. 755 miles, I believe. Had Waze on one device and the nuvi 3597 set up on the other side of the dash board. Fairly quiet trip. A disturbing LACK of reporting on Waze given the volume of cars on the road.

good thing i recognized some of the "back road" names since there's a bridge out and no detour signs. accordingly to dad, they originally only put up signs at the bridge which was 1 mile or 2 miles from the nearest turnoff depending on the direction you're coming from.

Trying to avoid the Christmas packed mall car parks.

Work trip to Philadelphia.

Toronto this Christmas.

Last time was a disaster with wouldn't you know NYS Thruway.

We have a NY E-ZPass but the issue was at the grand island bridge southbound that had just went to toll by mail.

It was sad when I googled and people had thousand dollar fines etc. Seriously, sad that in this day and age that happens over a $1 toll.

How about getting people from Canada to pay those tolls lol currently there is no means at all to bill them.
