Bad snow storm.

Just got back home to Lakeland, FL from a week long fishing/outdoors road trip to southwest Florida. I was down in Marco Island, Naples, Sanibel Island, and Captiva Island. My trusty Garmin loaded with POI's from this site guided me the whole way including through a few red light cameras in Fort Myers.

Oh and by the way, my handheld Garmin with the Bluewater Charts guided me on the water both while kayaking and at the helm of rental boats.

CT. I grew up there. Man it's seen better days.

Naples is where I want to retire to, but my buddy says Atlantic Coast. Maybe our funds say SC instead lol

(I have 2 defined benefit plans but the others are contribution, so I think the assumption is I only live to 79 when they show how much I might have--live longer and the assumptions are wrong)

So this was a first for me. I finally came upon a speed camera while driving in Maryland. They put several of them going through a 25mph zone. Thank goodness for this site.

Trip to Bestbuy yesterday.

Went roundtrip this weekend for a company function. We've had quite a bit of rain recently and some of the highways suffered from flooding.

Just finished the update on my old Nüvi in preparation for our sojourn down South for the holidays. Thanks factory folk for all of the updates this year!

John--Naples is indeed expensive, the whole southwest coast is. There's a few more affordable places to retire in Florida on the coast. Look into the Crystal River/Homosassa area on the West Coast and Sebastian/Vero area on the east coast.
