Keeping The Windmill Alive - Your Last Trip? – August 2019

In danger of losing your windmill?

Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).

Anything to keep your windmill alive.

This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.

My precious husband has been in the hospital for several days and then to the Oncologists after his release. Hopefully the treatments will shrink and slowdown the cancer and give him back his quality of life.

Leaving at 6 A.M. on the Harley for a week riding the beautiful mountain roads in NC, SC & TN.

Still not crazy about the new Harley Boom GTS radio/GPS. Very difficult and tedious to use.

It Turns Out You *CAN* Get There from Here

I always thought I couldn't get there from here, but I was proven wrong.

Of course, I did have to detour through Over There first.

It's another beautiful week.

To LA and Back

Took our granddaughter back to LA so she could go to school. Univalent trip there for it only took 6.5 hours.
My return trip was different. It took me 1.5 hours to drive out of town that usually takes 45 minutes.
At the rest area by Palm Springs I stopped at the rest area but when I was ready to leave the Garmin flashed red and told me I was traveling the wrong way and to turn around.
News to me since I was heading east to AZ. I was not using the Garmin for travel. After leaving the rest area the Garmin became sensible. I returned home with only a .5 hour delay.
