dogs

cant wait for the fire works to get done dogs are going nuts at night I have calming meds for them but I cant keep them stoned all the time !

Hard to believe we're past the half way point for 2019.

It was a brutal drive yesterday

Had to drive through the Cajon Pass in southern California, and apparently someone fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into a semi tractor/trailer carrying hazardous material which caught fire and incinerated itself.

All lanes were closed for hours, while a Hazmat team cleaned up the mess, then eventually two of the four lanes reopened. It took me nearly 3 hours to go 20 miles. Ugh, glad that's over!

Hopefully your weekend drive was much smoother, and this week's holiday adventures will be as well.

I currently have two dogs, a 3 1/2 yr old Labrador Retriever who isn't bothered at all, he's been raised around shotguns, and a 17 yr old Bichon-Shih Tzu mix. He hated fireworks, thunder, anything loud. He has gone mostly deaf though and doesn't hear them any more. When he could he would hide under my chair shake like he was freezing. It's the only bonus of his going deaf.
