Keeping The Windmill Alive - Your Last Trip? – June 2019

In danger of losing your windmill?

Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).

Anything to keep your windmill alive.

This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.

Lots of Peachtree Streets here!!!

Daily for traffic

The interstate was closed with down power lines and multiple other routes home were closed due to flooding. The ol' nuvi 1490 navigated me home easily through it all on a route I've never used before. It was a good day.

Seattle

its hard enough to get around with good roads but Seattle has their main roads under repair so its frustrating trying to use a GPS even if it is up to date !

Niece married

Made a short trip several hundred miles away to attend my niece's wedding. Very simple ceremony well attended.

Garmin came in handy getting me around in a community that has undergone many many changes since my last visit over a decade ago.

If you want to see some of my life, the user name is the word friend, all lowercase and the password is blank. I'm not on Facebook or any other social media site, so it's my web page or I email it to you if I know and trust you. There will be 6 or 7 parts when this whole thing finally gets cobbled together. I release a page per day, time permitting.
