Keeping The Windmill Alive - Your Last Trip? – January 2019

In danger of losing your windmill?

Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).

Anything to keep your windmill alive.

This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.

this will be seriously unexciting

we have to go to southern Delaware on Saturday for a party. Maybe we should buy something while we're there since it's tax free.

Trip

Sadly, my latest "trip" has been getting back and forth between a couple of hotels and the hospital where my wife was staying. 9.5 days in Cardio Vascular Surgical Intensive Care followed by 1.5 days in the Telemetry Unit. Bah. No fun at all. Fortunately she's home now and (slowly) getting better. I really did need the old 760 though as I can't see to drive at night and I spent 12+ hours in the hospital each day so ended up driving in the dark a lot. I needed it to direct my route as I really couldn't see well enough to figure out where to go - especially when it was pouring rain.

California Wine Tasting

My NUVI 295W took my wife and I to the Wilson Creek Winery in Temecula CA to celebrate our oldest grand daughter's birthday. First route was less traffic which I ignored. Second route was via the I-15 freeway which is the was I took.

Day Trip

Drove around Dorchester County, MD. Can easily see the effects of rising water level. Dead trees wipe out large groves. Lots of homes abandoned and collapsing. Sad. Still a beautiful area though.

If you are like us when one gets down the other is lost. Takes more than the GPS to find that kind of lost.
Glad she is getting better.
