I can think of one, but I won't state it now.

It is the only one that needs 'es' added to the end. All the rest just need 's'. More than one correct answer, depending on what you were looking for...

One early morning, a group of friends meet in their favorite café.

Ash, the biggest in the group, remarked :

"Must have been millions of years since we were all together, uh?""

Affie, who was wearing her brand new elephant pants, nodded. Anthony kept on complaining about the weather back home.

"Yeah, I am glad to be here with you, it is so cold at my place!"

Eugenie, who was saddened by the loss of a friend, was looking at Samuel and Namur, who where arguing about the possible future election of Donald Trump.

"These two are really inseparable", she said to herself.

Octavia, the smallest among her friends, stood and spoke :

"Guys, I have a suprise for you! We're going to the opera tonight!"

The waiter, waiting for the orders, wondered why these customers reminded him of something. But all of a sudden, he said:

"Ladies and gentlemen, may I suggest some sliced bread with butter, slices of cheese and ham? We also have croissants and other pastries. And for drinking, is coffee fine? We also have tea, of course, and orange and apple juice for you."

I even thought twice about posting it, but I thought it was a good teaser and truly not political at all. Guess no one wanted to guess on this because of that name, oh well, here's the answer ...

There is no reference to 'fish' in the original list of facts. Are you assuming the missing pet is fish? Perhaps the German keeps snakes.

The question is just another clue just like the clues in the list of facts.

I think I could have figured this out if I took the time. I was thinking of doing it when I got bored with TV tonight. But Baumback has already done the work for us.

Oh well, third riddle/teaser I've posted with not one guess. I guess the riddles have gotten boring or are too hard. It was fun while it lasted.

Answer Mount Rushmore

Not boring or too hard. Sometimes I see the riddle, know the answer, see that it has only been posted a few minutes, and don't want to take away the opportunity for others to have fun with it. I often get involved in other things and don't come back to post my guess...but I still enjoyed the experience. I am sure the same is true for others.

Of course darkness is not the only answser to this riddle...Fog.

But you can see fog, see it roll for instance, can't see darkness.
