On the dash in bright sunlight on vehicle 12v power, with the display set to 100%, the display has a very noticeable and distracting bright then not so bright flicker.
No flicker at < 100%.
Anyone else or is this thing begging to be sent back?

Garmin Tech Support is very good, especially if you call them. If the unit is still under warranty, call them and explain both your problems. If the screen is defective they will replace the unit.
