Did Garmin ever say what the .11 file changed (Why .10 was removed after we installed it)?

I'm still using the .10 maps on my 2 2689LMT's and 660 (SD Card).
I Know they came out with .11 maps... but there was various comments about it... so I left .10 installed....
Now that things have calmed down... Did Garmin Ever indicate why .11 was released, or offer a suggestion that those with .10 should upgrade, or ___________???
If Garmin has posted anything... I haven't found it... SO I ask the forum for their conclusions.

I saw one comment it had to do with Florida and some issues with timezones.

It didn't affect all models.
It didn't affect all models. I think there were some older models that it wasn't offered to.

2019.11 was offered on all 4 of my Garmin models, including the two older ones.

Apparently no changes for Zumo665
I've updated .10 to .11 on both my Zumo 665s and the maps were exactly the same size. I assume nothing has changed when the byte count exactly matches in the img file and jvc files.

I finally decided to contact Garmin on this issue....
Here is their response:
Hello Jan,
Due to a production error in the mapping on the 2019.10 maps, the 2019.11 version was released to fix any issues that may cause routing issues in some cases.
I would suggest updating to 2019.11 when you get a chance. This way you will have the latest maps with all the corrections.

I asked them why they removed .10 after I downloaded it... and then came out with .11..... With 3 units at .10 I was nosy as to why this all happened, and thought I'd ask them....
And that was their answer!!!!
