garmin streetpilot c550 (improvising a mount)

any suggestions? I have been searching for hrs for soln... my streetpilot c 550 works perfect, I dont want to replace it,,, however the ball socket is worn out, the plastic tabs have broken off,,,, any suggestions? I have tried to figure out a bracket but am coming up short....

go to ebay and find a junk one for parts and switch the back on the gps

Maybe

Maybe use Gorilla glue to fix everything into a fixed position. Cheapest solution I can think of.
