some are mobile installations rotating around

there are good number of mobile speed cameras in our area rotating around various locations. So, better to be cautious.

Be careful...

Some of the newer speed & red-light cameras are much harder to see. I happened to spot some new ones being installed while sitting at a stoplight on my bike the other night (a lot of road construction going on in the Orlando area right now). If I hadn't seen them putting them up, I would have missed them. They blend right in with all the other sensors at the intersections.

Be careful out there....

What is giving you this alert.

Have you downloaded and installed the poi-factory red light camera flies?

Your Got Any...

Pics of these new cams you're talking about that maybe you could send up to the Poi-Factory GODS so they could post em' for everyone to see?

We can also add them to this page if they don't resemble a configuration already listed below.

False Alerts

In my area, they move the cameras around from place to place.

You never know where they may pop up.

Very sneaky.....

Some of the cameras in the City are at intersections and usually don't change, but the cameras in the County do move around.

So I to get some "false" alerts. But I'd rather be careful and not take a chance on getting zapped.

SkyNet

CSM101 .........

twisted

I agree....

In Montgomery County, MD -- many speed cameras are very well hidden. But there is usually a warning road sign at some point.

To the best of my knowledge we have only two speed cameras in my general area. All other speed check is either done with radar in cars or a stationary cop with a handheld radar.

Am I Lucky?

I guess in my area speed light cameras are not yet installed but they are tons of red light cameras everywhere. But I heard they will be installing them sooner or later but in the meantime I got one out of my plate to worry about for the time being...

fixed and mobile mixed

you passed the fixed speed camera with reduced speed, and begin to speed up to speed you normally drive with. suddenly, you find (or never find) a mobile speed camera not far away down street from the fixed one.

Speed

To those of you who want to speed, spend a few bucks and buy a good radar detector. They are permitted in almost all states. In the ones where they are not, there is at least one "Undetectable "
radar detector you can by from Beltronics, the "Magnum" model. As far as I know there is NO detector detector that can detect it.

And while they/you speed, all of those that follow the rules

are at risk.
