POI's on map screen

Thanks to everyone that has helped me so far. Here is my next question. How do I get the custom POI's that I download from this site to show up on my map screen all the time. It would be nice if all my POI's were on screen while im driving so i could say "hey, thats there!", instead of going into my custom POI folder and selecting something. It seems that addresses that i put into my unit manually are on the map screen all the time, but not the ones that I download in. Any ideas?

In navigation mode;
Most units will only display your custom poi's from 300ft and closer. If you zoom in all the way (80ft) then out once, (120ft), twice (200ft), three times (300ft). The next time you zoom out will be 500ft and the custom poi icons will be gone from the screen. Even at 300ft, you need to be pretty close for them to show up while in a normal driving situation.
I think 500 or 800ft would have been better than 300ft.
Even in Mapsource, the icons go away at 800ft.
If you select a custom poi to "GO" to, the icon will still show when you zoom all the way out. However, this will do you no good when trying to navigate.

1poorvw has the 350 just like you.
if you click on your name, then click edit, then enter what gpsr(s) you use in the "signature" area then we all will know. If not, click a users name and under their profile it may show up (if they listed it when they registered.)
