I noticed some time back Garmin started a new help page that deals more with model number . Lots of information can be found there when dealing with problems you may be having. Just put the model number or serial number in the required space. Next page will give topic choice or a search option. https://support.garmin.com/en-US/

Interesting.. but

So you plug in your model number and then you get generic details. Often not applicable to "your" model.

Several of the download instruction manuals are like that. They are written for the numerical series and cover all the units, not specific ones, in the series. It may cover features that are available on your unit that are on others.

Not Complete

What's bizarre is that the support site never shows "firmware updates". They have manuals and software for the PC. I still have to Google for the .GCD updates.
