We did Quartzite last January for the first time. Had a great time enjoying the AZ weather, but the Quartzite RVShow that we had heard so much about was a total let down ..... Flea market on steroids
Early this week
Up early this morning getting ready for a road trip tomorrow. Been using an air vent mount to this point, but the vents in the new car took that option away. Got a bean bag mount I'll be trying out.

Glaze ice storm in east central IA today. Enough to restrict travel ... in fact, if I left, I would not be able to get back up my drive. But thankfully, not enough ice in my area to break tree limbs or cause power outages.

I can't see a thing....
for the FOG in STL. Actually the visibility is reported to be about a 1000 feet. My assessment is more like 300 feet and we are on a hill top. It is worse in the valleys.

When I was searching for a new car, after looking at reviews, consumer reports, etc I put together a "car test kit" that I carried with me--- it included the bean bag mount for my then garmin, my coffee cups, my charging devices, etc..... I actually put the the garmie in the new car for the test drive to be sure it would work--- and the car would "fit me"-- I later went to a vent mount but the "test kit" supported my decision and kept me from having unpleasant surprises.
