This week we’re recognizing, mgarledge!

Mary was our top poster last week!
I don’t monitor a ton of metrics for our site (I leave that to JM) but I do check who’s posting most often and what are the quality of the comments.
Are we engaging in helpful, polite and interesting conversations?

Seeing Mary’s name at the top of the list indicates to me we’re doing well! She’s part of the glue that keeps this community going.
Mary has a great sense of humor and I’ve said before that I admire her willingness to ask questions and explore new ideas.
She openly shares personal challenges with us, like recently adjusting her mother’s level of assisted care, and you can bet that if I decide to upgrade my Honda to a newer one with in dash navigation, she’ll be one of the first people I consult.
I think it’s evident in the quality of her participation that she genuinely cares about the community that’s been created here.

So please join me congratulating Mgarledge, our POI Factory Contributor of the Week!

What a nice way to start a week.
I do so love the POI-Factory.
I think of all of you as my closest friends.
This is the first place I check if I need anything as I know everyone on here is here to help.

Also, I just love to look each day and see what everyone is talking about. A lot if entertainment for an old lady.

Chevy.

Just out of curiosity Mary, do you ever get to drive the BelAir? Is it stock as far as the engine and transmission? I think I mentioned to you that my older brother had a '55 exactly like yours back in the mid 60's. I was only 16 at the time, but he let me drive it often. It certainly wasn't a "muscle car" with the 265 cu V8 and 2 speed Power Glide automatic, but I always felt "super cool" being seen in that car and loved driving it. He and I both wish he still had it.
