I didn't want it yet and now I am stuck with it.
The 1st thing is there is no "swipe" to get to the screen to enter the passcode number. I can get used to that I guess.
The next thing is I thought I NO to their "Two factor authentification" because it I thought it stated you needed to use Icloud. I don't back up to Icloud because it's all backed up to the company servers. Evidently saying NO means a YES to them because I got an email that it is enabled.
What scares me is that "From now on, whenever you sign in with your Apple ID on a new device or browser, you will verify your identity by entering your password plus a six-digit verification code sent to your other devices or a trusted phone number. To learn more, read the FAQ."
I don't have the 6 digit code. It sounds like they send it when I log in, but not sure. It might even be a forever changing code.
Time will tell if this messes me up or if it works.
