Is anyone else experiencing difficulty with Garmin Smart Link connectivity with their DriveSmart series and their iPhone on iOS 10.1.1? Frequently, I find that the Garmin and iPhone won't connect automatically (for traffic, weather, parking, etc.) and you have to fight with it by force closing the app, turning Bluetooth off/on on the iPhone, turning Bluetooth off/on on the Garmin, etc.
I have a Garmin DriveSmart 70LMT and I don't know if it's a recent Apple update or the recent software update on the Garmin.

Yes, and i have an open ticket for my dezl 770. The smartlink won't stay connected.

It is a typical Garmin issue. I had major Bluetooth connectivity issues with Nuvicam. I opened ticket with Garmin and it took them almost one year to fix the problem. But now there is another issue. If I don't open Smart Link app on my iphone, Nuvicam will not connect with Smart Link app.

Garmin Smart Link is a mess - January 2017
They broke it on the iOS app store with the latest update. It doesn't even work for live traffic on the gps anymore. If you haven't updated, don't!
I submitted Bluetooth logs and many others are also complaining. Previously, it would work if I open the Smart Link app after it connects and the gps starts up but rarely automatically.
