Amazon is not always best. (Almost) saved $20 on a refurb 2797

I say "almost" because I blew $6.99 back for Priority Mail.

I have been watching the 2797 refurb (and others) on Amazon for months. The VA just a bunch of $$ they owed me after an audit, so I jumped.

Anyway, it was the old Amazon "Available from these sellers" thing, and I didn't want to lose the warranty with a used one. GPS City showed refurbs for $219 with free shipping. Just on a whim, I went to their site to see if they sold refurbs direct. There it was for $199!! Free ship. It looks as though Amazon must hit them 10% for selling.

You folks know what a new GPS is like. I almost blew the whole 20 bucks on Next Day, but caught myself. LOL. My 2597 still works.

(I did try that Factory Outlet Store, but it's not Garmin, so I worried about warranty. Besides, they were at $239!
